2. Next are the robes. The front section of robe is decorated with some embroidery details.

Using two strands of the light gray embroidery thread, create a couched line down the front of the robe and a V shape at the neck. Use a single stand of black thread to hold the gray threads in place.

Using two strands of gray embroidery thread, add a row of four French knots as button detail.

Using two strands of the metallic silver thread, add a back stitched line along the robe sleeve and bottom hem. Now it is time to construct the outfit.

Place the stuffed body between the front and back pieces of the robe. Using two strands of black embroidery thread, whip stitch round the edges of the robes to attach the front to the back. Hold the stuffed character in place as you go, and remember to leave the sleeves open for the arms.
